Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2025
1. Introduction
CueBrite ("we") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you register and log in, we collect your email address or phone number. If you use third-party login (Google, GitHub), we receive basic information provided by those platforms (name, email, avatar).
2.2 Usage Data
We track your project creation count for quota management, but we do not store your presentation script content.
2.3 Locally Stored Data
Your project data (scripts, segment content, visual configurations) is stored in your browser's local storage (IndexedDB) and is not uploaded to our servers. This means you have full control over your creative content.
2.4 AI Interaction Data
When you use the AI generation feature, your input is sent to third-party AI services for processing. After generation, the results are returned directly to your browser — we do not persist this content on our servers.
3. How We Use Information
The information we collect is used solely for:
- Providing account authentication and login services
- Sending verification codes (email or SMS)
- Managing usage quotas
- Maintaining service security and preventing abuse
- Improving service quality
4. Third-Party Services
The Service uses the following third-party services:
- AI Model Services: for generating scripts and speech synthesis
- Resend: for sending email verification codes
- Aliyun SMS / Twilio: for sending SMS verification codes
- Google / GitHub OAuth: for third-party login (optional)
These third-party services have their own privacy policies, which we recommend you review.
5. Data Security
We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your account information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and secure session management (JWT).
Verification codes are valid for 5 minutes and have attempt limits to prevent brute-force attacks.
Since your project data is stored locally in your browser, its security depends on the security of your device. We recommend:
- Regularly exporting backups of important projects
- Not leaving sessions open on public devices
- Keeping your browser and operating system updated
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your account information
- Export your project data (via the built-in export feature)
- Delete your project data (via the project list delete function)
- Delete your account (contact administrator)
7. Cookie Usage
The Service uses essential cookies to maintain your login session (session token) and language preferences. We do not use any third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
8. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on the website. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
9. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to exercise your data rights, please contact us via email.
